Great experience! The food was delicious, full of rich flavors and perfectly spiced. The service was friendly and efficient, making us feel very welcome. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended!

The North Indian Food is really great and a bit pricey, but it's Definitely worth the price. The restaurant was crowded yet they served everyone in a timely manner.

Decent restaurant - my go-to restaurant for Indian food! Negatives: Inconsistent, especially quantity. I ordered a batura once and it was 60% of its usual size. But the naan I ordered on the same day was around 20% bigger. I often feel a bit uncomfortable after eating here. Once I got light food poisoning although it could have been from something else. Maybe I should order less haha. The starters don't seem fresh and aren't as tasty as the rest of the menu. Positives: The main dishes usually taste amazing and are quite good even on the bad days. Butter chicken, shahi paneer, chola batura - you name it - they all taste great. Their clientele seems quite mixed - lots of Indians but lots of people from other continents as well. It seems that they can prepare food for everyone which is a remarkable skill if you ask me. The service is quite great. They are fairly busy in the evenings but they try to accommodate you even if you are in a big group or alone. However, it is almost completely empty around 4 pm. But the quality of service doesn't drop. I saw a couple of the waiters practising french which was heartening to see. After all the great service, you pay at the counter - the tip is completely optional! This is so marvelous. However, I still leave an extra tip of 10-20 if I came with a big group and hogged a big table for 3 hours in the evening. To be fair, I would probably give them a 4 star if I compared them with indian restaurants in other north american cities. But when I am in Montreal, I come back here again and again. Because the other Indian restaurants are really not great and frighteningly inconsistent. So, 5 stars for you maison indian curry. Stay awesome and try to be consistent as much as you can.

OMG the Chat papri was so fresh and authentic . If you love North Indian food this is the place . Authentic Delhi street food and curries are speciality. Bhathure channa dish is very much same we used to eat in India. Don’t forget to taste their mango lassi.

Amazing food, best Naan bread and amazing lamb korma as well as a Channa Samosa for starters. Really accommodating to big groups, we just called ahead for lunch and the service was great. Really recommend.

Authentic, delicious, and generous are the three words i’d use to describe this place. Everything from the Samosas to the Lassi felt authentic and packed so much flavour. The texture of the fresh Naan was akin to a cloud, while the shrimp madrasi truly packed a spicy punch. Cherry on top; the portions were VERY generous and the prices absolutely reasonable. I recommend sharing the Channa Samosas as it could be an entire meal on its own.

This Indian restaurant is simply excellent! I've always had a soft spot for Indian cuisine, and I couldn't have been happier with what they served us. Curious to explore the full range of flavors, I ended up ordering a variety of their appetizers and they were absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, and the dishes came out of the kitchen quickly, making the whole dining experience even better. The staff was incredibly sweet and eager to help, offering recommendations with big smiles. Without a doubt, this place has easily made its way into my top 5 favorite Indian restaurants!
